BeE is a concept that tries to provide a delivery solution for everyone by focusing on the driver and delivery needs. Smart cargo spaces allow for seamless loading and unloading while the cockpit is conceptualized around the users bodily needs and tactile, visual and comfort considerations.
The automated cargo beds with their conveyor spheres can move the packages from the back to the front and unload again. The vehicles comes equipped with software that aids the driver and user to stack and load the vehicle in the appropriate order (depending on unloading sequence or size). Through the app the packages location and movement can be observed and controlled.
The interior cockpit is centralized around adjustable seating that transforms into a bench when needed. The oversized piano like dashboard allows for easy access to important an needed functions. Contrary to touchscreens that need a lot of precision to be engaged with the piano-key like pull buttons require little dexterity to be engaged. The back wall of the cockpit allows to adjust the seat belt height and lateral width to provide the most comfort for any body type and height.
The design of BeE is purposefully kept simple and functional. A feature line runs from the front of the vehicle to to the back and by tightening around the front this line create the icon tapering face. Even though the line placements is very pragmatic the van is dynamic and approachable. The side view silhouette shows a clear proportion and distribution of volumes and highlights the horizontal nature of the leading lines.
BeE is a smart and accessible delivery system for the modern and electric urban enviornment.
